Samsung Electro-Mechanics received top marks in the latest 2018 Shared Growth Index Survey by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership and was chosen as an “Outstanding Honorable Company in Shared Growth,” an award given to companies having earned the highest grade for the third consecutive year.
What is the Shared Growth Index Survey?
The Shared Growth Index Survey is a survey that was established by the Fair Trade Commission to promote fair business practices between conglomerates and their partners, in addition to enhancing the growth of these partner companies. It evaluates conglomerates’ agreements and their implementation of shared growth policies, rating their efforts to conduct mutually beneficial cooperation and the results of their support for their partner companies. Companies are given one of five ratings, ranging from ‘outstanding’ ‘good’ ‘acceptable’ ‘standard’ and ‘improvement needed’. The commission evaluated 181 conglomerates and SMEs this year, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics is among 28 companies that were rated ‘outstanding’.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics has executed fair agreements with partner companies, fostered partner companies through technology, manpower, funds, and educational support, strengthened strategic partnerships, and has established a mutually supportive growth culture.
