Samsung Electro-Mechanics received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 2020 KPCA Show hosted at the Incheon Songdo Convensia from November 24 to 26.
Eungsoo Kim, Executive Director and Circuit Board Manufacturing Team Leader received this award for his contribution to developing and mass producing Korea’s first CPU, GPU package circuit boards and for securing ultrafine circuit realization technology through the development of core materials related to semiconductor circuit boards.
At the awarding ceremony, Mr. Kim revealed, “With this award, I am very happy to have received recognition and meaning for Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ contribution to the semiconductor package circuit board industry. We will continue to endeavor to secure technological competitiveness that will lead the global industry.”
On the one hand, the KPCA Show hosted by the Electronic Circuit Industry Association of Korea is Korea’s only electronic circuit and embedding-related professional exhibition, where various leading domestic and overseas PCB producers and other relevant industries provide information on industry-leading technology.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics gained the interest of visitors by exhibiting its mobile AP FCCSP, 5G circuit board, and Note PC CPU FCBGA circuit board.
