Leading a new paradigm for semiconductor package substrates

A new platform that integrates all systems

SoS (System on Substrate), a next-generation semiconductor package substrate introduced by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, is a technology that improves semiconductor performance by mounting multiple semiconductor chips on one substrate and connecting them with fine rewiring technology.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics, which started the substrate business in 1991, has been leading the substrate industry with differentiated technology. In order to maintain the technology "super gap," we have intensively nurtured the semiconductor package substrate business with a proactive large-scale investment amounting to 1.9 trillion won from the end of 2021.

Proactively entering into the automotive component market for EV

In addition to the technological IT know-how and reliability so far accumulated, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has proactively launched highly reliable and certified products.

From the MLCC for power trains with reliability secured at high temperature of not lower than 150℃, to the power inductors that are capable of stably supplying electric currents to semi-conductor package substrates for autonomous driving (ADAS) and semi-conductors as well as the camera modules capable of stably recording even under severe conditions,

any and all of Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ advanced technologies apply to core functions, such as EV power trains, infotainments, and ADAS.
