Samsung Electro-Mechanics has updated information on the Chip Resistor product page on its website to improve user convenience.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has added four product categories to its Chip Resistor product page: Total Pb-free Resistor, Current Sensing Resistor (Metal Plate), Current Sensing Resistor (Thick Film Type), and High Power Resistor. Lineup information and searchable models have also been expanded accordingly.
The four new product categories have been developed in line with the eco-friendly market trend and the high-power product trend. In particular, Total Pb-free Resistor is an eco-friendly product that preserves the same characteristics of regular products while using RoHS-compliant raw materials.
With the addition of new product categories, the number of models has been significantly increased on the Product Search page. About 30,000 models have been added, bringing the number of searchable models to 57,000. The product search function has also been reorganized according to key characteristics to increase user convenience.
