Selected for the DJSI World Index for the 11th Consecutive Year

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the 11th consecutive year.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics has been recognized for its excellence in governance, ethical management, risk management, supply network management, environmental performance, human capital development, social contributions, disclosure of social environment data, etc.

An index that comprehensively evaluates sustainable management values such as financial results, environmental management, social responsibility, etc., by evaluating the economic, environmental, and social values of the main global companies for each sector and including the top 10% of such companies; since its initial evaluation in 1999, it has been acknowledged as the most authoritative sustainability index in the world. 


The DJSI includes the ‘DJSI World Index’ that evaluates 2500 of the largest companies around the world based on market cap, the ‘DJSI Asia Pacific Index’ that evaluates the top 600 companies in the Asian and Oceanic regions, and the ‘DJSI Korea Index’ that evaluates the top 200 companies in Korea.


Samsung Electro-Mechanics has been included in the ‘DJSI World Index’, ‘DJSI Asia Pacific Index’, and ‘DJSI Korea Index’ for 11 years in a row, and is the only Korean company in the ‘Electronic Equipment, Instruments & Components’ sector to be included in all of these indices.
