SAMSUNG ELECTRO-MECHANICS

Samsung Electro-Mechanics (CEO Chang Duckhyun) opened its three domestic business sites to employees and their families in celebration of Children’s Day, holding a “Family Day” event.

This event was organized to express gratitude for the dedication and hard work of employees, and to provide an opportunity to create special memories with their families. The events were held at the Suwon and Sejong business sites on May 3, and at the Busan business site on May 5, with around 7,000 Samsung Electro-Mechanics employees and family members participating.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics installed a total of 11 amusement rides inside its business sites, including mini bumper cars, Viking rides, and swing cars. The company also featured various programs such as traditional games inspired by the drama ‘Squid Game’, family OX quizzes, happy magic shows, and comedy mime shows. Additionally, experience booths including family photo sessions, face painting, and mug making were operated, increasing participant satisfaction. 

Cheon Kideok Pro with an 11-year-old child, expressed satisfaction saying, “It was strange yet enjoyable to see the workspace where I always work transformed into a festival venue to enjoy with my family,” adding, “I’m going home with special memories made with my child.”

Park Bongsoo, Executive Vice President and Head of the People Team at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, said, “We prepared various attractions and food to express our gratitude to employees and their families on Children’s Day, and we are thankful that many people joined us,” adding, “ We hope this provided an opportunity for everyone to recharge while spending precious time with their families.”

Samsung Electro-Mechanics actively practices family-friendly management by operating programs such as Children’s Day events, family movie days, and themed trips for employees and their families.
