Samsung Electro-Mechanics receives A grade from two Korean ESG evaluation institutions

- Received A from Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) and Sustinvest
- Exceptional ratings in environment, social, and governance
- Recognized for ESG achievements from various institutions, including being selected for the DJSI World Index for 12 consecutive years and FTSE4Good Index for 10 consecutive years 

 


Samsung Electro-Mechanics received A ratings for sustainability from Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) and Sustinvest. Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) and Sustinvest are representative institutions that measure the ESG performances of Korean corporations.

ESG standards for Environment, Social, and Governance and indicates the non-financial components of a company, and the results of an ESG evaluation are used for investment and decision-making standards for interest parties.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics received A ratings based on exceptional evaluations in supply chain management, shareholder rights, board of directors activities, environmental management, employee relationships, and local communities.

In addition, Samsung Electro-Mechanics was included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World Index for 12 consecutive years, maintaining the longest record in Korea. It was also selected for the FTSE4Good Index for 10 consecutive years and received CDP Carbon Management Top Rating, receiving recognition in ESG performance from various evaluation institutions.
