At Intel’s 2018 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) Program awards ceremony that was held in Santa Clara, California, Samsung Electro-Mechanics was awarded the PQS (Preferred Quality Supplier) Award.
As part of the SCQI Program, the PQS Award is an annual award given to Intel’s suppliers around the world that have shown outstanding results in an integrated evaluation that takes into consideration quality, technology, sustainability, and the like.
This year, over 30 companies were awarded with recognition of their outstanding results.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics was recognized for developing outstanding products such as semiconductor package substrates and providing outstanding product quality; this is the 2nd year in a row Samsung Electro-Mechanics was given this award, and this is the 4th award the company has received.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has been a main supplier for Intel since 2000, and this partnership is now nearing its 20th year.
CEO Yun Tae Lee stated, “I am very happy that Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ technology and quality is being recognized for the 2nd year in a row,” and that, “Samsung Electro-Mechanics will do its best to further increase its customer value through outstanding product quality and innovative new production methods.”
